Christmas and other randomness of fall/winter 2012

In no specific order here
Trying to get some shots for the Christmas card
Helping Dad rake the front lawn (I think he just made more of a mess but he thought he was helping)
 More Christmas Card shots
Baths are so much more fun in the kitchen sink
I have no idea what Cooper was doing but this was a pretty good picture considering Griffin had just figured out how to crawl and was everywhere, especially under the tree.

6 months and counting

Six months went by so fast, he is so happy and mellow.  He thinks that Cooper is just about the greatest person that walked the planet.  I love to watch them together and can only imagine how much fun they will have growing up.

Griff 3 months Coop 2 1/2

I am playing catch up, these were taken when Griffin was 3 months and Cooper was 2.5.  It was last summer, I know am way behind.  This was photo shoot number 2, I always try to get the very first one of the morning because I know that at 11 am both of my boys turn into monsters and the first try was living proof.  My poor dad went with me and had to witness the craziness that is pictures with two small kids.  At least the second try went better, we did the together pictures first to see how long Cooper would last.  Posing for pictures with his brother that I am actually paying for isn't one of his favorite things to do.

Coop's first movie

So last July we took Coop to his first movie, Madagascar 3 or as he would call it the Afro Circus movie.  He loved it, and even got up during the afro circus part and did his little dance.  He ate more popcorn than Bobby and I combined and spilled his sprite all down the front of his pants and chair but we had a good time and will do it again for sure.  It was nice to let Grandma have some quality Griffin time while we did something special with Coop.

Playing Catch Up

Griffin arrived 3 weeks early on April 3rd, my delivery was amazing and we have all been doing really well.  I was supposed to work through the end of that week at my new job and only got one day but everything worked out great.  He has been a terrific baby and Cooper is an amazing big brother, I am so proud of him.  We took our family to get pictures done about 2 weeks after Griff was born and here are some of my favorites.

Cooper was helping the photographer with the lighting and this what turned out
He hadn't opened his eyes a whole lot so it was nice to get at least one picture of them.

I know that babies don't really smile but I would swear this was a smile!
This is his squishy grump face, Cooper had one that was very similar.

 We couldn't even help ourselves.
Coop loves to wear these goggles that came with a tool kit he got for his birthday.  He wore them with a pair of rain boots the other day to the store with Bobby.
Coop demanded that he hold his brother this day and once he had him he demanded that I take pictures, all I could do was laugh and grab the camera.
Enjoying the nice weather we had

 Coop loves his brudder.

Can't believe he is already 2

These are some of the pictures that we had taken for Coop's second birthday. I really can't believe it has been that long, yet I can't remember our lives without him. He is great at keeping us entertained, he has new words all the time and can even count to 10. He loves to sing and dance and pretty much repeat anything he hears. The only time he holds still is when he is sleeping so he keeps us on our toes all the time. I am so excited to see him be a big brother and see what he will come up with next.

A Lot to Catch Up On!

So I haven't updated this in forever, I am terrible. Bobby and I are expecting boy number 2! Griffin will make an appearance in April, we are super excited for this next chapter in our lives. Coop doesn't quite know what is going on yet but I am sure he will catch on pretty quick when Griffin gets here.

Coop is growing and learning new things every day. This is a close up of the only Christmas picture that he was smiling in. I zoomed for proof.
Just some more Christmas/Family pictures and yes I know that I cut off our heads but really this was the best picture that we got of Coop so we went with it.

This is just a random one of Coop and I tailgating this last football season.
