Coop's first movie

So last July we took Coop to his first movie, Madagascar 3 or as he would call it the Afro Circus movie.  He loved it, and even got up during the afro circus part and did his little dance.  He ate more popcorn than Bobby and I combined and spilled his sprite all down the front of his pants and chair but we had a good time and will do it again for sure.  It was nice to let Grandma have some quality Griffin time while we did something special with Coop.

Playing Catch Up

Griffin arrived 3 weeks early on April 3rd, my delivery was amazing and we have all been doing really well.  I was supposed to work through the end of that week at my new job and only got one day but everything worked out great.  He has been a terrific baby and Cooper is an amazing big brother, I am so proud of him.  We took our family to get pictures done about 2 weeks after Griff was born and here are some of my favorites.

Cooper was helping the photographer with the lighting and this what turned out
He hadn't opened his eyes a whole lot so it was nice to get at least one picture of them.

I know that babies don't really smile but I would swear this was a smile!
This is his squishy grump face, Cooper had one that was very similar.

 We couldn't even help ourselves.
Coop loves to wear these goggles that came with a tool kit he got for his birthday.  He wore them with a pair of rain boots the other day to the store with Bobby.
Coop demanded that he hold his brother this day and once he had him he demanded that I take pictures, all I could do was laugh and grab the camera.
Enjoying the nice weather we had

 Coop loves his brudder.

Can't believe he is already 2

These are some of the pictures that we had taken for Coop's second birthday. I really can't believe it has been that long, yet I can't remember our lives without him. He is great at keeping us entertained, he has new words all the time and can even count to 10. He loves to sing and dance and pretty much repeat anything he hears. The only time he holds still is when he is sleeping so he keeps us on our toes all the time. I am so excited to see him be a big brother and see what he will come up with next.

A Lot to Catch Up On!

So I haven't updated this in forever, I am terrible. Bobby and I are expecting boy number 2! Griffin will make an appearance in April, we are super excited for this next chapter in our lives. Coop doesn't quite know what is going on yet but I am sure he will catch on pretty quick when Griffin gets here.

Coop is growing and learning new things every day. This is a close up of the only Christmas picture that he was smiling in. I zoomed for proof.
Just some more Christmas/Family pictures and yes I know that I cut off our heads but really this was the best picture that we got of Coop so we went with it.

This is just a random one of Coop and I tailgating this last football season.

Our Little Water Baby

I got this water table from a friend and I think it has to be Cooper's favorite summer toy so far. I think that if we let him he would play in the water all day. He wasn't very happy when we had to come in to eat dinner.

Just Chillin with my new hat and swimsuit
Stitch decided that Coop's water table was just a large dog bowl so she and Lilo helped themselves while playing.

On a hot day the only thing to do to cool down is to run through the sprinkler. Bobby and I had a pretty good time showing him how it was done. He thought it was pretty funny when we squealed because of how cold the hose water was!

He had to take a break from all of the fun with the water to play with his awesome truck from Grandma.

Giving Bear a hug because he was missed, he couldn't come and play in the water with us.

First Trip to Build-A-Bear

So a few weeks ago Grandma (my mom) took Coop to Build a Bear for the first time and here are some of the pictures she took.

The hard part is trying to decide on which animal is suitable to be a life long companion. Here is Coop contemplating all of his choices.

Here he is being such a good boy and waiting in line!
A hug is definitely the only way to tell if your animal is stuffed appropriately!

And don't forget to wash them, no one likes flyaway fur.

This is Dotie with a long O because that is currently how Coop says doggie.

Thanks Grandma for the fun trip!

So Creative

So Bobby took these pictures today and they are too funny not to share. So I guess Coop decided that playing with the drawers wasn't good enough, to have the appropriate amount of fun one must climb in the drawers.
But you must have activities to do while in the drawer, reading sounds like a good idea!
"This may be the greatest idea I have ever had!"

Getting in and out isn't the easiest task but obviously worth the effort.
He is just too funny. Oh Coop I love you and all your crazy ideas!
